The Hazardous Materials Society (“HMS”) is now offering a Certified Dangerous Professional (“CDGP”) exam preparation course, via our training Partner, Columbia Southern University (“CSU”).  HMS now has a CDGP prep course delivered entirely online that any applicant, anywhere in the world, may take at any time at his or her own pace over a maximum of 10 weeks – and then has rights to return to the material for an additional 6 months.

The course was prepared by a professional course writer retained by CSU, and then CSU’s content professionals translated her work into the online presentation.  Five IHMM CDGP credential holders vetted the content over a month and signed off as excellent preparation for the CDGP exam.

About HMS

The Hazardous Materials Society or HMS is established to provide excellence in education, training, advocacy, information services, meetings and networking in the fields of hazardous materials management, dangerous goods transportation, health, and safety to raise the level of performance and professionalism among those individuals whose services to their communities create a safer and more sustainable environment. HMS provides support for all 8 of IHMM’s credentials.  The Hazardous Materials Society was created by the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management as a separate, 501[c][3] non-profit organization with its own Board. No one who participates in any IHMM credential committee also participates in an HMS activity, the two are kept strictly separate as HMS respects the ANSI accredited credentials of IHMM.
