CHMM TEST PRIMER &
8-HR HAZWOPER REFRESHER
The Central Ohio Certified Hazardous Materials Managers is offering the
“Essentials of Hazardous Materials Management” course. This class will
provide a comprehensive review of environmental laws, regulations and
applicable science/health topics designed to assist professionals in
preparing for the CHMM exam. All individuals who have duties related to
the management of hazardous materials, and environmental, health and
safety responsibilities will benefit from this course.
The AHMP Hazardous Materials Management Desk Reference, 3rd Edition
(three volume set) will be provided to registrants.
EHMM Course participants will receive a certificate of course completion to
document their attendance. An 8 Hour HAZWOPER refresher certificate will
also be provided to those who request it, but must fully attend the three
day class.

You do NOT need to be a CHMM exam candidate to take the EHMM Course. You do
NOT have to take the EHMM Course to sit for the CHMM exam.
All testing is computer-based and is offered through the Institute of Hazardous
Materials Management (IHMM). Refer to www.ihmm.org for more information on
how to register for the CHMM exam and for testing center locations.
