There'a a fantastic FREE training opportunity for Ohio EHS professionals.
The Ohio Safety Congress has been held since the 1990s, is sponsored by the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation, and is a great source of information and training for EHS professionals and for all levels of the organization. This annual event is being held in Columbus, Ohio, March 7-9, 2018.
In recent years the planning committee have added a medical track and an environmental track. This is in addition to PSM, Industrial Hygiene, Workers Compensation, Engineering, etc. The full list of tracks is available on the link.
For more information, click on the link, it will take you to the session descriptions. I have been on the planning committee for this organization for the last several years, and the quality of the meetings is the same as that of the paid national conferences. In addition, the conference Expo is really one of the largest gatherings of vendors for safety, health, medical equipment and/or services in the country.
For those who need them, a total of 17-19 contact hours are available for the conference - roughly 6 contact hours per day of attendance. Again, all this is free, except for parking. Look forward to seeing you there.
