As a way of increasing the value of being a member of both AHMP and a chapter, the AHMP leadership is excited to announce a special members-only benefit.All national members who are also a member of an AHMP chapter will be able to access a new data bank of technical webinars AT NO CHARGE.  The AHMP Cyber Chapter has been developing a library of slide decks and recorded presentations and will share them with AHMP for the exclusive benefit of individuals who hold dual membership. This service is expected to launch in the 3rd quarter of 2017.In the interim, the AHMP Cyber Chapter is offering free attendance at its live webinars to dual members. To launch this new service, the Cyber Chapter is hosting three timely webinars--two next week and a third in early May--on the future of the EPA, OSHA, and DOT under the new administration.Dates and speaker bios for the upcoming programs are listed below. But, first, here’s how you register to access the webinars at no charge:

An additional benefit of registering for and attending the live presentations is that the Cyber Chapter will track your attendance for recertification credits.

  1. EPA Outlook: April 24, 2017, 4:00 pm ET
    Speaker: Lynn Bergeson, PC, Owner of Bergeson & Campbell, P.C.
    Ms. Bergeson counsels clients on issues pertaining to chemical hazard, exposure and risk assessment, and risk communication. She has earned an international reputation in the legal and regulatory aspects of conventional and nanoscale chemical regulatory programs under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), the European Union’s Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), and on issues pertinent to nanotechnology, biotechnology, and other emerging transformative technologies. Her specialties include chemical product approval and regulation under TSCA, FIFRA, and REACH, as well as nanoscale substances and nanomaterials law, policy, and regulation, and biobased substances law, policy, and regulation.
  2. OSHA Outlook: April 28, 2017, 4:00 pm ET
    Speaker: Adele Abrams, Esq., CMSP
    Ms. Abrams is an attorney and Certified Mine Safety Professional who is a nationally recognized author and speaker on occupational and mine safety and health issues. Ms. Abrams also provides safety training (OSHA/MSHA) and consultation services, including safety and health audits. She is a member of the adjunct faculty of the Catholic University of America, teaching legal courses in its Master’s in Management program. She has co-authored several books on mining and safety, and writes regular articles for magazines including Aggregates Manager, Professional Safety, Pallet Central, Modern Contractor Solutions, and Compliance.
  3. DOT Outlook: May 5, 2017, 4:00 pm ET
    Speaker: Gene Sanders DGSA, CET, CDGP, CDGT
    With over 25 years of extensive exposure working with Dangerous Goods in pharmaceutical, safety supplies, chemical, educational, waste, and clinical trials environments, Mr. Sanders is knowledgeable in DOT (49CFR), ICAO (A.I.R. & IATA), IMO (IMDG), TDG, and ADR.   He is a current member of the Board of Directors at DGAC (formerly HMAC), is the current Chairman of the Board of Directors for DGTA, has been past Chairman of the Education and Training Committee at DGAC, and is currently a member of DGAC, COSTHA, DGTA, AHMP, and SCHC.
