How to develop a security standard that works!

John Jurcsisnrecently retired from a 40-year career at the Chlorox Company, spending 32 of those years as the Corporate Health Safety and Engineer Manager for the laundry division.  He managed the chlorine handling standards for all Clorox operations, upgraded all chlorine and caustic safety standards and conducted annual safety audits.  John was the DHS security point person for chlorine handling operations, and he developed and implemented a security standard for all manufacturing operations.  John earned a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from Cleveland State University, and his affiliations include the Greater Cleveland Safety Council; Ohio Manufacture's Association; American Red Cross BICEPP (Business & Industry Council for Emergency Planning and Preparedness); the Cuyahoga County Local Emergency Planning Committee; and The Chlorine Institute (Member of the Communications, Security (DHS) and CHLOREP Committees).
