Tour of Case Western Reserve University's "think[box]"

We will meet on-site for a tour starting at 6:00.

The location is as follows:

Guest parking is available at the Veale Parking Garage (Lot 53), located at 2158 Adelbert Rd.

The guest entrance to the garage is on the lower level, by the wind turbine. When you exit the garage, walk past the athletic field towards the Veale Center/Case Quad. Look for the Glennan Engineering Building. When you enter Glennan, you will be on the third floor - think[box] is one level down in room 209X.

If the entrance to Glennan is locked, please call 216-368-3248 and one of our teaching assistants will let you in.

CWRU's think[box] facility is an Institute for Collaboration and Innovation Case Western Reserve University's new invention center provides a space for anyone - especially students, faculty, and alumni - to tinker and creatively invent.

Housed temporarily in a 4500 square foot space, this $30M project will be moving into a 7-story, 50,000 square foot facility, making it one of the largest university invention centers in the world. Some of the equipment that they routinely use and we will get to inspect during our tour are 3-D printers, CNC Routers, Laser cutters, vinyl cutters, circuit board routers, 3-D Scanners, ....
